Montréal is proud to host the 13th International Congress of Photosynthesis from August 29 to September 3, 2004.
The conference theme is "Fundamental knowledge of photosynthesis leading to improved plant productivity and a balanced global climate".
The meeting will be held in the spacious, well-equiped, and centrally located Palais des congrès de Montréal. Canadian in spirit, yet decidedly French at heart, Montréal boasts a cosmopolitan flare that is internationally renowned. Montréal is well known for its quality of life and safe streets, its friendly atmosphere, its gourmet restaurants and sidewalk cafés.
The Local Organizing Committee, in collaboration with the International Society of Photosynthesis Research, is endeavouring to make the 13th International Congress of Photosynthesis a world-class event both scientifically and socially.
